About the Competition

The "Great Corridor Cup" 2024 China Hangzhou Postdoctoral Science and Technology Innovation Elite Competition is jointly organized by the Hangzhou West Science and Technology Innovation Great Corridor Management Committee and the Hangzhou Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau. The competition will focus on unique, forward-looking, and disruptive technological innovation projects, promoting innovation through competition, promoting the transformation of competition results, and closely integrating industry, academia, research and application; To attract talents through competitions and build a new platform for talent cultivation; Using competition as a medium, linking the innovation chain, industry chain, capital chain, policy chain, and talent chain, igniting a new engine of innovation and entrepreneurship.

  • Kickoff

    May 10th

    Register through the competition registration channel
  • Preliminary competition

    Mid June

    The organizing committee of the competition allocates re competition spots based on the number of registered and approved projects, and organizes experts to evaluate and select 30 projects to enter the re competition based on the categories of each project field.
  • Semi-final competition

    At the end of June

    Organize online roadshows for the semi-finals contestants and select 15 projects through expert online evaluation to advance to the finals.
  • Final competition

    August 8th

    The final project will undergo on-site roadshows, with judges and experts defending and scoring, selecting gold, silver, and bronze award projects, and presenting them on-site.

Land policy

POLICY

The competition will have 2 gold medals, 5 silver medals, and 8 bronze medals, as well as 35 winning medals. Gold, silver, and bronze medals will be awarded with prizes of 50000 yuan, 20000 yuan, and 10000 yuan respectively (no prize money will be given for winning medals), and participants will receive a certificate of participation.

Gold, silver, and bronze award projects that are launched and transformed in the West City Science and Technology Innovation Corridor within one year after the end of the competition can receive relevant talent policy support from the West City Science and Technology Innovation Corridor and the landing area. Among them, gold award projects can enjoy a maximum of 12 million yuan in research and development subsidies (including 1 million yuan in start-up funds) for three years and a maximum of 3 million yuan in workplace rental subsidies; Silver and bronze award projects can enjoy a maximum of 6 million yuan in research and development subsidies (including 800000 yuan in start-up funds) and a maximum of 1.5 million yuan in workplace rental subsidies for three years.

A maximum of 900000 yuan of special support will be given to postdoctoral fellows working in the corridor.
